Parks and Recreation: Town Hall Meeting

The City of Jonesboro Parks and Recreation Department will hold a town hall meeting to present rough design concepts of a pool and water park in the Jonesboro area, and to obtain input from the community. 

The meeting will be held Thursday, August 7, at 6:00 pm at The Forum Theatre in downtown Jonesboro.  The meeting will be conducted by pool and water park consultant Scott Hunsaker.  The concepts presented are not final concepts.  The meeting is to gauge whether the consultant is moving in the right direction.  Potential locations have not yet been determined and will not be presented at this meeting.
